this ia a great website for me as I had a middle-european grandmother(she was a great baker/tomato jam maker). I was at a japanese restaurant and had some yakisoba. I loved it. please, please, do you have a recipe for a sauce/ idea for it that doesn’t come in a package? I would really like to make it…
thank you!

mybrother in law was in china and fell in love with a simple, very spicey plain cucumber salad. it was an appetizer. he ate the salad outside of the shao lin temple. we’ve been trying to find a recipe and i cannot locate it. can anyone help out on this one?
Audrey, unfortunately the book isn’t being distributed outside the U.S. And my publisher doesn’t have a relationship with Borders anymore which has a presence in Singapore. The best way is to order it is via amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com and have it shipped internationally. Hope you can get it!
What a great idea for a book!!! I’m definitely getting a copy and can’t wait for it to come out. Enjoy the research!
Funny, my lola (Filipino for grandmother) used to make fried chicken like Auntie Neneng’s
Just wanted to say, love the blog and looking forward to the book — and sending copies back to the ‘ohana’ in Honolulu.
Hello there, a Brazilian living in Seattle here – please know, I LOVED your cooking ideas and suggestions on the radio today!!! –Paul
