mybrother in law was in china and fell in love with a simple, very spicey plain cucumber salad. it was an appetizer. he ate the salad outside of the shao lin temple. we’ve been trying to find a recipe and i cannot locate it. can anyone help out on this one?

Audrey, unfortunately the book isn’t being distributed outside the U.S. And my publisher doesn’t have a relationship with Borders anymore which has a presence in Singapore. The best way is to order it is via amazon.com or barnesandnoble.com and have it shipped internationally. Hope you can get it!
I have your book on my Wish List. Hope to get it at Christmas!!! Wondered if you Mum’s Fried Chicken recipe is in the cookbook or will you post it someday. I did a search on your site, but didn’t see it, just your Aunty’s Joy Chicken recipe. It looks very good and easy!!!
